Over the last twenty years Ian became increasingly involved with this charity, spending most of this time as the IMM international treasurer.
IMM is a small and relatively unknown charity that works in deprived mining communities all over the world. It works with people who often have a very dark and dangerous existence, and this charity seeks to bring to them both practical help and the good news of Jesus Christ.
Ian had the privilege of travelling to a number of countries where he visited remote mining communities and did all he could to make a difference there. He had a huge passion for those he visited and supported, and never grew tired of promoting the work of IMM.

If you would like to make a donation, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, it would be fitting if you were able to donate to the work of the International Miners Mission (registered charity number 221853).
Follow the link below to the IMM website where you can make a donation to them directly and read more about their work.
