Walk and Talk is a friendly, informal, ladies’ group that meet at Hicks Lodge at 10.00 am every Tuesday; all are welcome. We span a large age range from mid-thirties to late seventies, but are united by our faith, friendship and appreciation of nature. It provides a wonderful, relaxed opportunity to get to know each other and to share.
Hicks Lodge is a beautiful place to walk and explore, as some do. However, for those who prefer to just meet up for coffee and chat, the staff in the café are really hospitable and look after us well.
It’s such a warm, open group where new comers are always welcomed. We laugh and have lots of fun, but also encourage and support each other as sisters in Christ. Many of those who come have been through difficult times recently, and have found Tuesday mornings offer an opportunity to share, offload and leave feeling so much better. For those who live alone it is especially valuable.
Transport is never an issue as there are enough ladies with cars to provide lifts.
