The Great Pudding Debate 2016
What a feast! More than 20 puddings and over 40 people came together in another successful repeat of this popular event. Ladies from all of the different groups who meet at the chapel were represented along with their friends and families to crown the Queen of Puddings 2016.
The evening as usual began with refreshments and a quiz before we got down to the serious matter of sampling the cuisine and voting on our top 3 choices. Whilst the votes were calculated there was an opportunity for a thought for the day before the all important announcements were made.
This hotly fought after accolade was awarded to Karen Poultney for her pudding which was a concoction of chocolate and mint gorgeousness. Karen is pictured here bedecked in tiara and sash which have become the traditional honor for Queen of Puddings and her Maids of Honor.
This year the title of Maid of Honor was awarded to both Amy Birtwistle,
Alice Reed and Jackie Neale for their delicious contributions.
Well done ladies and thank you to everyone who made a pudding and came along to the event we always have an amazing evening (even if we do have to walk off all the calories the following week)
